Malacañan appointed an alumnus of UNC as Naga City’s new Registrar of Deeds last March 27.
The said UNC alumnus is Atty. Glenn R. Perillo, 38 years old. Perillo passed a series of test, interviews and background review which led to his appointment as the new Registry of Deeds.
The nature of this job is to review conveyances, transfer of certificates of titles, deeds, and mortgages.
To qualify for this job, one must be a member of the Bar and possesses a decriptive knowledge concerning transactions involving real properties, deeds and conveyances. “One must be hardworking, patient, enthusiastic and possess an untiring passion to render public service,” Perillo said.
Perillo earned his degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Nueva Caceres in 1997 and passed the Board Examination in the same year. He took up Law the next year untill 2002 and passed the Bar examination in 2003. He exercised his profession as a lawyer in a partnership of three named MorandantedRivero-Perillo Law Office from 2004 up to 2006.
When asked about inspirational message for the students, he said “Keep struggling. Live on your dreams. Work hard. Don’t take life seriously. Don’t care too much on what people would say to you…please yourself. (Ian Howell Boquiron)
