Lynn Zuniga Padillo, a student of Ph.D program of UNC Graduate Studies, was promoted last June 1, 2012 as Education Program Supervisor, in charge of Science and Private Schools, Elementary Education Division, DEPED RO V. She also served as Principal I of Grandview Elementary School, DepEd Naga City. She is also a member of the Network of Outstanding Teachers and Educators of the Philippines being one of the 2008 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Teachers of the Philippines.
Edna C. Fernandez, a student of Ed.D. program of UNC Graduate Studies was promoted as Teacher-in-Charge of Dalipay Milaor High School last May 16, 2012. She finished the BSE degree at the Bicol College of Arts and Trades as Cum Laude and finalist in the National Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) in 1991. She passed the Principal Examination in 2006. She taught in Union National High in Calabanga, Camarines Sur for 20 years.
Gerumi S. Senar, a Ph.D. student, was promoted as Division Coordinator /Supervisor for SPED (Division of Cam. Sur) after serving as Principal I of Mambulo Nuevo High School for seven years.
Venus V. Verdad, a graduate of Master of Arts in English at UNC and a secondary public school teacher at Vinzons Pilot High School in Vinzons, Camarines Norte, qualified as team member to a Group Study Exchange Program to Australia. In order to qualify, she went through a selection process which included credentials screening and a panel interview. The selection process was conducted on Oct. 21, 2012 at Balai Sadyaya Beach Resort, Sariaya, Quezon Province.
Venus P. Tormes– Balmedina, a student of Ed. D in Educational Management program, was hailed Outstanding Teacher in Pili District last July 4, 2011, the Most Outstanding Teacher in the Division of Camarines Sur last October 5, 2012 and was awarded 2nd Place, Outstanding Teacher in the Bicol Region last October 10. She is also a recipient of the Gawad Sigasig Award last April 29, 2011. She is a Master Teacher II at School of the Future in San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur.
