Led by the principal, Mr. Ronnie V. Castro and the Assistant principal, Mrs. Dionely J. Dematera, the High School Faculty and Students’ Choir bagged the grand prize besting other entries from different departments in the university, leaving the Colleges of Business and Accountancy (CBA), and
Engineering and Architecture (EA) settled for 2nd and 3rd places respectively. Clad in green, white, and red, the HS Choral belted out the Santa Claus is Coming to Town as their warm –up song with Gloria in Excelsis Deo as the official contest piece. Thirteen teachers comprise the choral group namely:
Ronnie V. Castro, Dionely J. Dematera, Dinna E. Capin, Maribel B. Galicia, Joey C. Claveria, Charlemagne Hate, Joyce Ann J. Relato, Marlene E. Castro, Melody R. Arquibel, Maila P. Flores, Amiel Servano, Lyndon dela Cruz, and Mr. Raymond Rasonable. Moreover, Mr. Julio Ortiz and Mrs. Lani Nano presented a tableau of the Holy Family.
Meanwhile, during the universitywide Belen-Making Contest, the HS department landed 2nd place. The
replica of the manger set was made up of recycled plastic bottles perched on a crescent moon of the same material. The entry was made from the concerted efforts of the HS Math Area, in cooperation with the HS Faculty Club
headed by Mrs. Dinna E. Capin and the HS Administration.
