UNC eng’g grad among topnotchers in EE board exams Hard work and diligence paid off for UNC engineering graduate, Julip Cesar A. Vega, when he notched 6 th and 9th places in the licensure examinations for electrical engineers and master electricians, respectively this September 2016. UNC
posted an overall passing percentage of 72.22% for electrical engineers higher than the national passing percentage of 68.45%. Likewise, the university registered an overall passing percentage of 81.25% for master electricians higher than the national passing percentage of 68.07%.
Engr. Julip Cesar A. Vega graduated at the top of his class as Cum Laude in March 2016. He worked as student assistant in the Electrical Engineering Laboratory to finish his engineering course and was a consistent Dean’s Lister throughout his stay in college. To date, the UNC College of Engineering and Architecture has produced a total of 107 topnotchers in civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics and communications engineering and architecture licensure examinations and has remained as one of the top performing engineering schools in the Bicol region.
