VISION

The University of Nueva Caceres College of Education shall effectively address the need to produce quality and committed teachers who shall be truly reponsive to multi-faceted and changing community and social needs. In this regard, it shall contribute significantly to the university's continuing efforts of maintaining its leadership role in education and in building a community citizens committed to improvement of the quality of life of Bicolanos and of the whole nation.


MISSION

The College of Education commits itself to:

A. Ensure appropriate, effective and affordable maximum benefits from education development thrusts and programs.

B. Achieve effeciency and effectiveness in promoting linkages with appropriate agencies within outside of the school.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

1. To equip the students in cooperation with the other departments of the university, with a liberal education.

2. To provide challenges to the students and to inculcate in them a sense of mission and purpose as future leaders of their community.

3. To provide oppotunities and adequate training in the major fields of teaching.

4. To make them responsive to regional and national goals.

5. To produce technology and research-oriented teachers.

6. To equip the students with coping skills a person as member of the teachers professions.
