Major Functions

Assumes leadership in the continued support of an atmosphere favorable to the development of a faculty of creative teacher scholars.

Assumes general supervision and control over the academic operation of the college of education.

Directs and advices students in their program of studies and approves their subject loads.

Collaborates with the Guidance Counselor in the program of student counseling and guidance.

Recommends through channels revision of curriculum and course of study to be adopted for approval by the Commission on Higher Education.

Serves as a regular member of the Academic Council.
