History
The College of Law is one of the original colleges established upon the
foundation of the then Nueva Caceres Colleges in 1948. It opened with a total
enrolment of only 28. It had for its first Dean former Camarines Sur Congressman
and CFI Judge Jaime M. Reyes.
In April 1951, the College of Law graduated its first class of three - Luis General, Jr., Valentin Usigan and Dr. Pedro Villafuerte. All three took the Bar examinations that year and passed, thus registering the first 100% passing record for the college.
In 1984 through the efforts of then Dean Perfecto O. Palma, the UNC Bar Review Center was established.
