"Enriching Young Minds with Entrepreneurial Spirit"

The College of Business and Accountancy offers integrated courses in business and accountancy with varied fields of specialization, so programmed as to develop men and women of well-rounded personalities, thoroughly trained and prepared to handle responsibilities in industry, empowered for global competitiveness, as well as to develop upright citizens for the country. This goal is worked through by providing students with theoretical knowledge; by analysis of factual cases and problems in business; by research; and by periodic faculty and student development activities such as seminars, conferences and study tours to supplement classroom learning. Practical experiences are likewise afforded the students through a practicum program where students are fielded in various companies and/or accounting and auditing firms, both locally and abroad.

The College has established its formal linkages with the industry, government agencies and institutions for the enhancement of its programs and projects. Such partner agencies and institutions are: the Department of Trade and Industry; the Department of science and Technology, Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines; and other various business establishments, banks, financial institutions, and auditing firms for the practicum training and /or apprenticeship training of students. For the students' international practicum training, a formal tie-up has been established also with Service On Line Corporation (Manila-based), Optimus Consulting Services, Pte, Ltd., and GMP Recruitment Services (both Singapore-based).

The three major courses offered are Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with the following major fields of specialization: Finance, Management, Marketing, Economics, Office Administration, and Financial Accounting. The college has also been commissioned by CHED to implement the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP), particularly for BSBA.
