VISION

College of Education shall effectively address the need to produce quality and committed teachers who shall be truly responsive to multi-faceted and changing community and societal needs.  In this regard, it shall contribute significantly to the university’s continuing efforts of maintaining its leadership role in education and in building a community of citizens committed to the improvement of the quality of life of the Bicolanos and of the whole nation.

The College of Education commits itself to:

achieve efficiency and effectiveness in promoting linkages with appropriate agencies within and outside of the school.

GENERAL OBJECTIVE

To provide a training environment in order to cultivate professional competence and promote personal integrity and dignity in the teaching profession.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

to facilitate academically challenging teacher preparation programs for global competitiveness

to inculcate in the students a sense of mission and purpose as future leaders of their community

to make students responsive to regional and national goals

to produce technology and research oriented teachers

to equip the students with coping skills as a person and as a member of the teaching profession

to produce compassionate leaders and agents of positive social change for the promotion of peace and harmony
