DEAN’S MESSAGE

As an academic unit of the University of Nueva Caceres consisting of departments (comprised of Biology, Environmental Sciences, Mathematics, Literature, Political Science and Psychology), the College of Arts and Sciences is genuinely committed to programs in academic excellence to promote the University’s mission of preparing students to compete globally in the workplace and in graduate and professional schools.

The College of Arts and Sciences is concerned with the development of physical and interpersonal skills, emotional and attitudinal predispositions, character formation and work habits, as well as cognitive abilities and subject-matter expertise. We have sustained collaborations with organizations serving youth in several communities and ongoing partnership with both government and non-government organizations. The advantage of these ongoing connections for our students is the opportunity to be exposed to real world challenges and to be involved in problem-solving collaborations with practitioners and policy-makers.
