Intuit, a leading US-based company providing business and financial management solutions to small and mid-sized businesses along with the Sutherland Global Services (SGS) has introduced Quickbook – an accounting software that they plan to use I businesses. Said software was launched to graduating students particularly those students taking up Accounting subjects in the different universities in the city including those in UNC.
An orientation about the process of training for the said software was held at Instructional Media Room
of UNC last July 21,2008 with the speakers from SGS, Mr. Vijaedra Nagar and Mr. Jerome Esparoza. Among he participants were 4th year students of BS Accountancy and BSBA Financial Accounting along with Ms. Maria Isabel Lopez, the JPIA adviser.
The proposed training will help the students ad accounting professors alike to become more familiar with international accounting practices and some business acumens in the US.
