Two Bachelor of Science in accountancy students were chosen as Naga City Officials in 2008. The said students were Client Vincent Belen (4th Year), 8th City Youth Councilor; and Jason Estrellas, City Youth Accountant.
Out of 260 applicants from different in-school and out-school youth organizations, the said students were included in the top 45 after passing the paper screening and panel interview composed by the different department heads.
The College of Business
and Accountancy is consistently producing city youth officials for the past five years, maki8ng University of Nueva Caceres, a school of future leaders and achievers.
The City Youth Official is counter parts of the different local officers, appointed heads and department heads of the City Government of Naga. This activity serves as venue for student leaders in preparing and involving themselves in the crucial tasks of public administration and nation-building.
