College was a great experience. It’s been 15 years but the learning and wisdom remain the same. What an exciting time these last four years have been.
UNC played an important role in where I am and who I am today. The motto itself Non-Scholæ Sed Vitæ says it all. It prepared me to face the real challenge outside the four corners of the room. It encouraged me to explore. It taught me that life is not just a piece of cake. It created favorable conditions for my personal growth. It honed me to be ready on a global scale.
On a lighter side, the university became my second home, my sanctuary. I got a family, friends, and critics. Thanks to the professors specifically from the Computer Science Department. They were the ones who trusted my insights, brought confidence and became my inspiration.
University of Nueva Caceres, my alma mater, thank you for the quality education.

As a former working student at the University of Nueva Caceres, which helped me build my leadership qualities, value the importance of education and give premium to the management of time.
A degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (1996) offered me the opportunity to be an Information Technology Officer of Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) Legazpi Branch. Now, as a Team Leader of INRU-BCRD, public service is about serving the people honestly and doing a job efficiently, dedication to the people and to the nation.
To borrow GSIS slogan, UNC is Maasahan ng Lingkod-Bayan.

It was my first year at UNC back in 2007, when my life totally changed. I took AB Psychology since I’ve been amazed by how I could study the human mind and different approaches to behaviors in the different settings of our society. UNC prepared me for the reality of life and how to persevere in spite of the difficulties. I was also encouraged by my professors by pushing me through my limitations since they have seen my potentials. I finished the course in 2009 and took a Masters in Guidance and Counseling. Graduate School is another challenge and UNC helped me to grow on my chosen field of interest and equipped me to be more competitive internationally.
UNC made me realize that education is the primary way for me to achieve my goals. I was inspired every step of the way to keep going, keep trying, even in the midst of challenges. Fast forward, now my dreams became reality. I have been involved in different international fora & trainings, finished counseling course at Canadian University Dubai given by the Philippine Consulate Dubai, a Certified Applied Behavioral Therapist, Served as Head, Special Educational Needs & Disabilities Department & School Psychologist at United International Private School, Dubai United Arab Emirates, Editorial Board at Asian Psychological Services and Assessment Inc., Philippines, Currently Board of Directors in Psychological Society of the Philippines UAE Dubai Chapter, have been conducting trainings and workshops at Philippine Consulate General and Northern Emirates, various organizations in the Philippines, and across United Arab Emirates. I was awarded as Outstanding & Meritorious Employee for two consecutive years at United International Private School, Dubai, UAE, and Outstanding UNESCO Club Educator of the Philippines 2018. Currently, I serve as the Head of Inclusion Support Centre at St. Mary’s Catholic High School Muhaisnah, Dubai United Arab Emirates, a Mental Health Advocate and beliefs in the capacity of the youth to change the world.
I give all the honor and appreciation to GOD and to UNC, my Alma Mater!
